Ocean County Household Hazardous Waste Disposal Program

Each spring and fall the Ocean County Recycling Department sponsors a Hazardous Waste Disposal Program. Only Ocean County residents and farmers are eligible for this free program. Pre-registration and proof of residency is required.

For Toms River Township residents, latex, oil base and boat paints (no varnish or thinners) are accepted all year without an appointment, at the Recycling Convenience Center on Church Road which is open 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
