TOMS RIVER TOWNSHIP

DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS

Tree Trimming/Brush Collection Schedule

Toms River Township Public Works instituted a new brush pickup program in 2005. In an effort to save space and landfill tipping fees brush is now being chipped. Public Works will be picking up brush curbside in the fall and spring each year.

Fall 2008 Schedule

Beginning the week of September 8, 2008, the Township will begin curbside pickup of shrub & tree trimmings, branches, & small logs to be chipped & recycled instead of land filled. Logs must be less than 3” diameter; all material must be bundled in lengths of 4’ or less and weigh less than 50 lbs. and on the curb before 7:00 a.m. on Monday of your collection week.
