Our focus is on the importance of keeping one’s body, mind, and spirit vibrant.”
During the day, a proclamation will be presented by a representative from State Senator Robert Singer’s office. “We are very proud to say that the State is recognizing our efforts to educate the people of Ocean County on Alzheimer’s disease, and in making both patients and caregivers aware of the many resources available to them,” said Ms. Whiteman. “We have all worked very hard for this and it is quite an honor,” she added.
Agencies participating in the health fair include the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department with information on Project Lifesaver which fits tracking bracelets on individuals with autism and those with Alzheimer’s disease.
